Taylor’d Yacht Charters is co-owned by Sandy and Tom Taylor. Sandy has a background in Middle School Education and Administration and was Chairman of a Language Arts Department before entering the yacht industry. Tom has a comprehensive business background and was President and General Manager of International Paint USA, the primer marine coatings company, before entering the yacht industry. Their yachting experience began in 1990 with ownership of their own vessel and continued with Sandy’s employment at Renaissance Cruise Lines, Bob Saxon Associates and Camper & Nicholsons. Both Tom and Sandy worked for Northrop and Johnson before starting their yacht charter services company. Sandy and Tom’s extensive experience in crew placement, yacht charter marketing, yacht management, and chartering arms them with personal knowledge of the majority of all the charter yachts and crew in the worldwide Charter Fleet. They attend charter shows in Ft Lauderdale and Miami, FL; Newport, RI; Genoa; Monaco; St Maarten and Antigua annually to keep abreast of the availability and condition of the Charter Fleet and to maintain their extensive yachting contacts.
