St Martin to Martinique Yacht Charter – Itinerary
Day 1. Arriving in St. Martin, you will be met by the crew of your yacht at The Princess Juliana Airport. You can enjoy a relaxing afternoon dockside as you join your chartered yacht from Taylor’d Yacht Charters at The Princess Yacht Club located in the beautiful Port de Plaisance Resort and casino.
Day 2. After breakfast, relax as we depart St. Marten’s Simpson Bay. A short two hour cruise brings us to St. Barths.
Once your yacht is anchored in Gustavia Harbor, take a ride in the tender or head to town. Among the island’s natural riches is a small tree called the Gaiac, the native Caribís word for “Tree of Life”. It blooms a striking deep blue and can be seen all over the island.
Day 3. Relax in the sun as we set course for the island of Antigua, only 6 hours way. Once tied up at Falmouth Harbors Yacht Club, venture ashore, take a cruise around the harbor in your launch from the yacht, a horseback ride on a nearby beach, or allow the crew to arrange for a helicopter ride to see an active volcano on the nearby island of Montserrat.
Day 4. Wake to the smell of fresh baked muffins as your chef prepares breakfast. Today’s destination is Harmony Hall located in Antigua’s Nonsuch Bay. This is a wonderful area where only a reef lies between your boat and the Atlantic Ocean rolling in unbroken from Africa. Run around on the wave runners, or join the crew for a snorkeling adventure on the inside reef just off of Green Island. Tom and Sandy of Taylor’d Yacht charters personally enjoy the delectable food at Harmony Hall with its outside ambience overlooking the surf of Green Island, then hiking down the hill for a quick dip in the water. You will see megayachts anchored out off of Green Island while you are dining, swimming, or snorkeling.
Day 5. Take in a final view of Antigua as we depart Nonsuch Bay for the six hour cruise across the Guadeloupe Passage to Guadeloupe. Once docked at The Marina Bas Du Fort in Pointe-a-Pitre, venture ashore to see a bustling waterfront with brightly colored umbrellas and gaily dressed market women surrounded by heaps of fruits and vegetables.
Day 6. Wake to the sound of the yacht in motion as we depart Guadeloupe for Martinique. After a walk around the island capital, Fort de France, join the crew for a sport fishing excursion. Fish the islands outer reef for tuna, barracuda, kingfish, and bonito.
